As part of our team, you may see patients either independently or in conjunction with a supervising physician and perform the following duties: assessing patient health by interviewing and performing physical exams obtaining, updating and reviewing medical histories making preliminary diagnosis's identifying short and long range patient care issues recommending options and course of actions determining abnormal conditions and/or ordering diagnostic tests and interpreting the results providing continuity of care by developing and implementing patient management plan performing therapeutic procedures by administering injections and immunizations Candidates must be committed to complying with federal, state, local, legal and professional procedures, rules and regulations Ideal Candidates will have the following qualifications: Active licensed in Maryland 2+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience Experience working in GI office EMR experience (G-Gastro huge plus!) Active DEA license ACLS and BLS certification -DCAF
